Awards
The below listed awards are recognized and given by the Club to its members. With the redesign of our website we are working to publish a chronological listing for the winner of each award. Please, bear with us as we complete our work.
Bronze Coton Award –
Perpetual Award with name of the highest winning dog or bitch will be engraved with the name of the member owned Coton that has the highest ranking of Breed Points.
Breed Award –
Certificate with Club logo will be awarded to Show Dog or Bitch of the Year – (highest number of All breed points won)
Happy Go Lucky Agility Award –
Certificate with Club logo will be awarded to the Coton that has the highest points for the year.
National Owner/Handler Award –
Certificate with Club logo for the winning Coton, starting from the procedure for point dates established by the AKC and published in the Canine Chronicle.
Bred by Exhibitor only Class –
Certificate of achievement will be awarded to the Coton de Tulear whose championship was earned by points received by the breeder only in the Bred by Exhibitor Class during the calendar year. The exhibitor is responsible for notifying and submitting all records of proof to the USACTC.
USACTC will utilize the statistics and effective yearly dates employed by The Canine Chronicle to calculate points earned. All owners of record must be a USACTC member in good standing beginning January 1st of the qualifying year or your points will begin from date of membership approval for that year.
